Mourning Conversation

I leave for work at 7 in the morning. It’s not exactly the middle of the night, but it’s not lunchtime either, and I find it puzzling that I see so many people in their cars talking on the phone that early. First of all, I’m pretty sure that 98% of human conversation could be eliminated with little or no effect on the world, but that’s a discussion for another time. What I wonder is, how much could you have to say to someone first thing in the morning?

Now, I really am more of a morning person than a night person. I will get up early to go running, or fishing, or to take the garbage cans out when I hear the truck coming. So I’m not like some bleary-eyed grump when I wake up. But I don’t really feel like talking a whole lot that early. There’s something about silence in the morning that makes the whole day go more smoothly.

Do you like to talk on the phone early in the morning?

The only time I took calls that early was when I was in college and worked graves and my mom would call me then because it was the only time she knew she could call and not wake me up. Other than that people calling that early should be shot. Of course I'm a night owl.

No I do not (or ever).

But if those people are like me, they're probably telling someone the dream they had last night, so i can't really blame them.

I've wondered the same exact thing.
I love to read a book then exercise followed by some time for quality quiet meditation and reflection....When I go through that ideal routine for me I have had a great day -- no matter what happens the rest of the day. No you dont have to get up that early but whenever you awake these same principles will help you in your personal life and business....Succeeding in your business today draws parallels from personal success. Besides you could use the rest. Have you heard your bed calling to you like that early in the morning?
