Maxim-um Discomfort

The old saying goes that you’ll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Well, the other day I added some vinegar to what I was cooking, and as I was putting the cap back on I noticed a mosquito or something inside. I have no idea how long it was there, but this was a big bottle that I had been using for over a year. Yerg.

So , if that saying is true, how many insects have I overlooked in honey over the years?

ha ha. gross.

i find tiny weavils, i think, in the flour sometimes.. or at least trying to get into the flour canister. They never quite make it. I used to think that was the sickest thing ever but now i'm like, oh well. so long, little fella. It makes me feel like i live in the pioneer days. Little bug never hurt anyone.

On that note, does anyone want to come over for dinner?

lastly: i like 'yerg.'

Ah, yes. "Yerg" is the word I use to indicate general disgust or displeasure, as long as the situation doesn't merit a more emphatic response.

Gum on shoe="yerg"

Black widow in hair="AIEEE!"
