Classy Reunion

Well, I went to my high school reunion on Friday night, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. My favorite part was when people tried to quickly glance at my name tag to see who I was. So to those of you who encouraged me to go, thank you, and to those of you in my graduating class who have visited the blog but not left even one snarky comment (I now know there are at least two of you), shame on you. I suggest you free yourself from such a burden by identifying yourself below.

At any rate, it was a lot of fun, and it’s always nice to have a night out. Now, if I can hold on to my hair for five more years, I’ll be sure to report on our 15-year reunion as well.

And what is this website that you speak so highly of? And honestly, if I had planned my trip better I would have gone. I didn't know it was on that day until . . . well, the day of the reunion. So I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and of course I'll be calling for a few more details.

I think that you are probably referring to me when you mention those that have not commented! Well, here you are- a comment! It was good to see you too! My husband and I both really enjoyed ourselves. I have to say that you have changed a lot since high school (even though I recognized you right off) so you can't blame everyone for checking out your name tag. I vote for hats with name tags on them for the 15 year- that way it can at least look like we are looking at faces (or heads) rather than having to look down and feel silly for doing so! The funny thing is that if I didn't recognize someone I headed towards someone that I did instead! Again, good to see you- now we can keep in touch through the blog! Yea!
P.S. It was nice to meet your family! I always wondered who would be willing to put up with you! I think that you did very well for yourself in that department. Your wife seems very nice- tell her hello!

Thanks for taking my oh-so-subtle hint. Since we all know as bloggers that comments are our life blood, we might as well make each other feel good and keep in touch at the same time.

What you only want snarky comments?! should have known! Well, I have left comments, not that it seems to matter. I'm not even sure you know who this is. I'm sorry I missed the reunion, but it was to time and cost prohibitive. But I should be at the 15 year, provided I'm in the country, or at least have student loans paid off so plane tickets aren't out of reach.
You're a geek. And I say that in the most loving way I possibly can. Plus who cares if you still have hair in 5 years. I'm not sure my husband will, course that will be the same year as his 20 year reunion.

Come on, Lizzy, how could I ever forget you?

It was nice to see you at the reunion and to meet your wife. My husband and I both thought she was very friendly and immediately likable. We even thought so before she told us we were the most enjoyable people she talked to that night! (Sorry Erin!)

Don't worry, we didn't talk to Erin that night.

So if we had gone to the park, we would have had more competition? Oh well.

Well, your competition would have mostly been our screaming two-year-old, who ensured that we didn't stay long on Saturday.

Um . . . I went through the pictures of the High School reunion and . . . now I'm REALLY glad I didn't go. You guys looked good though.
